This will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and honour our Grade 9 students.

PARENT APPRECIATION
We would like to invite all parents to join us for a special Parent Appreciation Morning on Tuesday, June 10, starting at 7:45 AM. This will be a fun, drive-by event where you can swing by the school, and our STJ staff will be there to greet you with a delicious coffee and treat as a small token of our gratitude. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for your ongoing support and partnership throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you there and showing you just how much we appreciate you!

GRADES 1 – 5 FUN DAY – volunteers needed
We’re excited that our Grades 1-5 Fun Day is happening on June 23rd, and we need your help to make it a memorable day for our students! This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved, connect with other parents, and have fun with our school community.
We are looking for a minimum of 32 volunteers to assist with activities, supervise stations, and help ensure the day runs smoothly. Whether you can give an hour or stay for the whole event, your time and energy will make a big difference.
If you’re able to help, please let us know by contacting your child’s homeroom teacher by email or in the agenda.
Thank you for your support—we can’t wait to make this day a success together!
SCHOOL FEES
As we approach the end of the school year, we’d like to kindly remind all parents of the importance of settling any outstanding school fees. These fees play a vital role in helping us maintain the high quality of education and provide the wonderful opportunities our students enjoy throughout the year. In order to close our financial books for the year, we kindly ask that all outstanding fees be paid by June 13. This allows our administrative team to complete the necessary year-end processes. We truly appreciate your support and attention to this matter. Please take a moment to log into PowerSchool to make your payment, and if you need any assistance, don’t hesitate to call the school office. Thank you for your prompt action!
TIME TO ORDER YOUR YEARBOOK
It’s time to order your student’s yearbook! The yearbooks will be delivered to the school in mid-September and will be distributed to students at that time. Some parents may have already ordered a yearbook as part of the photo package they selected in the fall. If you didn’t order a package that included the yearbook, now is your chance to get one! If you’re unsure whether your selected photo package includes a yearbook, please contact Smart Photography directly at 780-944-0800. Please do not call the school office, as we do not have this information.
STAFFING FOR 2025-2026
As we prepare for the close of wonderful school year, we would like to take a moment to share some of the staffing updates for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year.
We will be saying goodbye to a number of valued staff members who are moving on to new opportunities. While we are sad to see them go, we are incredibly grateful for the care, dedication, and service they have shown to our students and school community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to the following staff members:
Mrs. Eckford, Mrs. Magleo, M. Mangwassa, Mrs. Lehman, Mme Benincasa, Mme Fofana, Mme Bauer, Ms. Alzubaidi, Mme Ndeou Deutcha, Ms. Amie, and Mrs. Crawford.
We also wish new moms/moms to be, Mme Lachance, Ms. Vandoar, and Mme Goudreau all the best next year at home with their new babies.
A special note of gratitude goes to Ms. Stang and Mme Rachelle, who have both served as Assistant Principals. Their leadership, support, and unwavering commitment to our school community have had a lasting impact on students, staff, and families alike. We wish them continued success and blessings in their next steps. Congratulations to Mme Rachelle who will become principal at Ecole/Escuela Holy Child School. They are so lucky!
Finally, we extend our deepest thanks and congratulations to Mrs. Daigle, who will be retiring after an incredible 43 years in education. Her legacy of love, learning, and leadership has touched countless lives, and she will be dearly missed. She has promised to come back as a substitute teacher.

At the same time, we are pleased to welcome several new staff members who will be joining our school team in the fall. We look forward to the fresh energy, diverse experience, and new ideas they will bring as we continue to grow together in faith, learning, and community.
We are especially pleased to introduce Mr. Pagacz and Mme Robertson, who will be joining our leadership team as Assistant Principals. They bring varied experiences, a deep commitment to Catholic education, and a passion for student learning and well-being. We look forward to the positive impact they will have in their new roles.
We are also delighted to welcome the following new staff members to our teaching team: Ms. Abinader, Mme Dorothy, Ms. Talbot, Mrs. Burke, Miss Kopinsky, Mme Prather, Miss Jolene, and Miss Marla. Each brings unique gifts and strengths, and we are confident they will be a wonderful addition to our school family.
