Grade 9 Farewell

On Friday June 6, Grade 9 students will enjoy a special outdoor field trip filled with fun and memories. In the evening, we invite all Grade 9 families to join us for Mass at St. Thomas More Church, followed by a reception at the school. This will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and honour our Grade 9 students.

Junior High Ski Trip Replacement Activity

We are planning for a fun outdoor field trip for all Junior High students on Monday June 16. This Physical Education-focused day will serve as a replacement for our canceled ski trip, providing students with an active and enjoyable experience. The amount previously paid for the ski trip will be applied toward the cost of this field trip. If the cost of the new trip is lower than the amount paid, families will receive a refund for the difference. We look forward to a fantastic day of outdoor fun.

SCHOOL COUNCIL NEWS

Message from the School Council Chair

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, I would like to take a moment to thank you for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. Your engagement—whether through volunteering, participating in events, or supporting your child’s learning journey—continues to make a meaningful difference.

This year, the School Council has focused on strengthening communication between families and the school, supporting initiatives that enhance student experiences, and ensuring that every voice is heard. We also encourage even greater participation in our upcoming School Council meetings. Your involvement strengthens our School Council executive team and reinforces the partnership we share with the school’s leadership in creating a vibrant, welcoming, and successful community for all students.

On behalf of the School Council, I wish you and your family a wonderful spring season. We look forward to seeing many of you at our next meeting and the upcoming year-end celebrations!

Please join us at our last meeting for this school year on June 18 at 6:30. We will meet in the school staff room. I hope to see you there.

Warm regards,
Moses Farrell
